Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is mental health awareness week and the focus this year is anxiety. Research by the Mental Health Foundation (MHF) has found that 30% of adults in the UK with feelings of anxiety state they are not coping well with anxiety. The MHF have created a series of suggestions for ways to cope with feelings of anxiety and prevent those feeling from becoming overwhelming or out of control. Please check them out here:

As part of our ongoing support at ACWA we have invested in training another two members of staff as Mental Health First Aiders this year.
