International Women’s Day – Gwynn Tiberio

Meet Gwynn Our Operations Manager at ACWA. We asked Gwynn a few questions so we could run a short profile highlighting her role, achievements and advice for others entering the industry.

What is your role at ACWA?

I joined ACWA Services in July 2025 as Operations Manager, sitting within the Senior Leadership Team.

What’s an achievement you’re proud of?

My greatest source of pride will always be my two daughters. They are strong, ambitious, and possess a work ethic that reflects the values I’ve always tried to model for them. Seeing them grow into women with big hearts and fierce attitudes inspires me to keep pushing for a world that is ready for the calibre of women they’ve become, and I couldn’t be prouder.

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

For me, IWD is a celebration of unapologetic ambition. It’s a day to honour the resilience of women everywhere and to double down on our commitment to building a workplace where talent isn’t gendered, and women are not overlooked anymore.

Who has inspired you in your career?

I’ve been lucky enough to have some great mentors and line managers throughout my career, who have all inspired me in some way.

What advice would you give to women entering the industry?

The most successful women I know are those who refuse to shrink themselves to make others comfortable. Be strong, be feisty, be you.

What is your superpower in the workplace?

My superpower is the ability to make firm decisions, often in the face of ambiguity. I’ve always believed that leadership isn’t about having all the answers, but about having the courage to choose a direction when the path isn’t perfectly clear and commit to it.
