ACWA achieved 100% in every category at a recent audit and assessment by the independent supplier-verification organisation Achilles Information Ltd. Achilles UVDB Verify is a supply chain certification process that audits an organisation to ensure that they are working effectively against four key criteria:
- Health and Safety
- Environment
- Quality
- Corporate Social Responsibility
Areas covered include, industry standards, recognised best practice and legislative requirements.
The assessment comprised of two audits; the first audit focussed on the Management System Evaluation and the second focussed on the implementation of those systems at an operational site. The choice for the site was Gayton where ACWA have provided design and installation services and systems in relation to the Nitrate Removal Plant.
