The 10 MW Thermal Oxidiser is for the secure destruction of waste liquids to be installed on the Saudi Electric Company PP7 power station that is being converted to natural gas firing.

The Thermal Oxidiser is designed to destroy waste liquids, ranging from contaminated water to liquid hydrocarbons, at a temperature of 850oC, with a residence time of one second, utilising compressed air to atomise the liquid waste gas stream before it enters the thermal oxidation zone. The oxidiser will be fired by waste oil and natural gas as support fuel and incorporate split range temperature control - to modulate both the waste fuel and natural gas flowrate.

In addition to the thermal oxidiser the system provided includes combustion air and cooling air fans, Chimney Stack, PLC control panel, air compressor and dryer, interconnecting pipework and valves all designed to comply with Saudi Aramco Standards.
