Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

ACWA Services Limited is an environmental company specialising in the design and construction of water, effluent and air purification systems. The Company’s objective is to achieve clear environmental and ethical standards of behaviour and practices throughout its business activities. ACWA take responsibility for creating wider benefits both within and around its business and endeavour to make its impact a positive one, which improves the lives of others and reduces the risk of harm to people and the environment.

The activities of the Company are managed to minimise the effect on the environment and it is committed to continual improvement involving its shareholders, employees, clients, partners, subcontractors, suppliers and society. It is recognised that this will only be achieved through regular monitoring of our corporate social responsibility performance and being regulated by a committed management system.


The Corporate Social Responsibility policy commits the organisation to ensure compliance with the following:

  1. To identify the significant environmental aspects relating to the activities of the Company and to maintain procedures and strategies for their environmental management.
  2. To promote diversity and equal opportunities whilst ensuring a safe and secure working environment for its workforce.
  3. To encourage, educate and train its employees to conduct activities in a manner consistent with our principles.
  4. To encourage and support its employees in environmental and social activities in the community where they live and work.
  5. To treat its clients as mutual partners and work with subcontractors, suppliers and its workforce fairly and ethically.
  6. To only employ subcontractors and suppliers whose ethics, reputation and integrity are aligned to its own.
  7. To undertake an annual review of this policy or upon the introduction of new processes, new procedures or new environmental legislation applicable to the Company.
  8. To make this policy available to all interested parties as required.
  9. To integrate corporate social responsibility principles into the business plan and day-to-day business decisions.

This policy is supported by other company wide policies and procedures including our Quality Management System certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and our Environmental Management System certified to BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
